I got this as a gift and was really excited to install it.Before I stuck it on my truck, I decided to hook it up to see if it would work.I followed the instructions to the letter which was rather easy considering it all plugged into the factory harness.Turned on my left signal, nothing but alarms on my dash.Turned on right signal, same alarms!Called Putco and was told to run a jumper wire from the positive post on my battery to supply constant power to the bar and still nothing!The original installation required you to remove the tail light assembly and splice into the wires and run jumper wires in the fuse box.I refuse to hillbilly rig into my wiring system because way too many things can go wrong and winds up being extremely costly to repair if they do!Putco makes outstanding products but the direct connect harness for the 2017 Ford Super Duty is their total failure because it DOESN'T work on all Fords, ONLY the ones WITHOUT the BLIS system (Blind spot information system)!If you have a Super Duty with the BLIS system and you don't want to splice into your wiring and create jumper wires in your fuse box, then stay away from this product until Putco can figure it out.
