When this wind generator arrived they forgot to include the battery charge controller that was promised to be included. They sent one later. So far so good. The product description claims that this is a 600W generator at 800 rpm. I confirmed this directly with the seller that this is indeed the case. However, when I tested it the output is only 30W. I confirmed the generator axle rpm with a tachometer and got over 900 rpm. The three phases of the generator where directly connected to the charge controller. The output of the charge controller was connected to two 12V lead acid batteries in series. The lead acid batteries where new but only about half charged. The maximum power the charge controller could feed into the batteries was 30W even though the generator spun at 800-900 rpm. I did not expect 600W but 30W is a scam. I don't know if the generator they sent is perhaps only a 100W generator rather than a 600W one, or if the charge controller is at fault. My guess is that this is a blatant scam and they sell you a 100W generator for a 600W one. Their response to questions was slow and often very uninformed or entirely wrong. Stay away from this one, unless you want a 30W wind generator for that price.
