I got this machine because I realized I was spending too much money in ham for sandwiches and I realized if I had the machine at home I could buy the big ham pieces and cut it at home for great savings. I decided to give it a shot and I was a little worried since the price was too good to be true. I don't regret at all giving a chance to this machine. I use it to cut ham and cheese for my sandwiches. Now we buy the big ham and cheese pieces and cut it ourselves and save it in the freezer in various portions that last for months. Definitely saves us some money. It is easy to clean and store. I haven't had any issues using it and it comes with this plastic clear piece that helps you cut your food with your hand at a safe distance from the blade. It is very user friendly and of great quality materials. I personally think that the cable for connecting it to the electricity is kind of short, so make sure you have a safe and steady table space with an electricity outlet nearby.So far I have used it to cut turkey ham and cheddar cheese. I use it in the #1 setting so the pieces are nice and thin. Works great. It is worth the investment. I would definitely recommend this product.
